2013 - 2017

Wolseley Group

Digital Marketing Manager – Wolseley Group FTSE100 Company – May 2013 to present day

 

BAU Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic campaigns across digital marketing channels with internal teams to achieve targets
  • Manage external marketing agencies for SEO & PPC activities & budgets across multiple brands
  • Manage PPC strategies & product feeds & builds to drive sales growth
  • Work alongside internal teams including marketing, merchandising and analyst team to implement, manage and deliver and track all digital marketing campaigns
  • I work across several brands to drive step changes to increase ROI and achieve targets

 

Subject matter Expert for SEO & CRO for Wolseley UK transformation project

  • Project lead on scoping SEO requirements for new wolseley.co.uk website throughout detailed design and specification.
  • Prioritisation of SEO developments and implementation in to wider project work streams
  • Review CRO, personalisation & segmentation service providers. Gather stakeholder requirements and review against service providers to propose best fit and subsequent integration and launch
  • Upon launch of new wolseley.co.uk website project lead for migration of legacy sites to provide minimum risk to customer experience and organic search visibility

 

Successes

  • Lead a project, with agency assistance to drive 10:1 ROI on SEO projects including on-site, off-site, CRO and UX projects
  • Rebrand and launch the B2C arm of Wolseley (www.discountedheating,co.uk) and drive 100%+ YoY revenue growth
  • Successfully manage digital marketing strategies to drive growth in B2B and B2C brands with minimal cannibalisation of sales to drive increased revenue within both brands
  • CRO project within one ecommerce brand increased conversion rate from 1% to 2.5% in under 6 months within a priority product category
  • Drive engagement within the business of the digital marketing strategy and how it can benefit their areas to drive new revenue streams
